Terms & Conditions

Please read our terms carefully before engaging our services or purchasing products

General Terms of Service General

By engaging SecureVision Solutions for any products or services, you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all purchases, installations, service contracts, and any other business transactions with SecureVision Solutions.

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change without prior notice and actual billing will be based on the confirmed purchase order or service agreement.

SecureVision Solutions reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

Payment Terms General

For product purchases: 50% advance payment is required to confirm the order. Remaining 50% is due before delivery or at the time of installation, whichever is earlier. For service-only contracts, full payment is due within 7 days of service completion unless covered under an AMC agreement.

Accepted payment modes: Cash, NEFT/RTGS, UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm), Account Payee Cheques. Cheques are subject to realization. Outstation cheques attract additional bank charges.

Late payments beyond 15 days attract an interest of 18% per annum. SecureVision Solutions reserves the right to withhold service until outstanding dues are cleared.

Product Warranty Policy Warranty

All products sold by SecureVision Solutions carry the manufacturer's warranty as applicable. Standard warranty periods: CCTV Cameras — 1 to 3 years depending on brand and model; DVR/NVR Systems — 1 to 2 years; Weighing Machines — 1 to 2 years; Accessories — 6 months to 1 year.

Warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover physical damage, water damage, damage due to power fluctuations (without proper surge protection), or unauthorized modifications. Warranty claims require original purchase invoice and the product to be in original packaging where applicable.

Warranty service is carry-in unless specifically covered under an on-site warranty agreement.

Installation Terms Service

Installation charges are quoted separately and are not included in the product price unless explicitly stated. The customer is responsible for providing power points, internet connectivity, and clear access to installation areas. Civil work such as drilling, conduit laying, and patch-up work after installation is the customer's responsibility unless included in the quoted scope.

Installation is carried out during business hours (Monday to Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM) unless otherwise arranged. Additional charges apply for work on Sundays and public holidays.

Customers must ensure that permission is obtained from building management, housing societies, or relevant authorities before installation begins. SecureVision Solutions is not liable for any disputes arising from unauthorized installations.

CCTV Specific Terms Cctv

CCTV systems are installed for the lawful purpose of security monitoring of the customer's own property. The customer is solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, including the Information Technology Act and privacy regulations, regarding the placement of cameras and storage/use of recorded footage.

SecureVision Solutions does not monitor, access, or store customer CCTV footage except during installation, service, or with explicit written consent. Remote access credentials are to be maintained confidentially by the customer.

Camera placement recommendations are advisory in nature. The customer has final authority on camera positions. SecureVision Solutions is not liable for security breaches due to inadequate coverage resulting from customer-directed camera placements.

Weighing Machine Terms Weighing

All weighing machines supplied are calibrated at the time of delivery/installation. Subsequent calibration and legal metrology verification is the customer's responsibility, typically required annually or as mandated by applicable law.

Weighing instruments used for trade purposes must be verified by the Legal Metrology Department. SecureVision Solutions can facilitate this process at an additional charge. Un-verified use of weighing instruments in trade is the customer's legal responsibility.

Customers are advised not to subject weighing instruments to loads exceeding the stated maximum capacity. Overloading damages load cells and voids warranty. The customer is responsible for appropriate use and protection of weighing equipment from environmental damage.

Annual Maintenance Contract Terms Service

AMC covers preventive maintenance visits (quarterly for annual AMC), emergency breakdown response within 24-48 working hours, and minor repairs as specified in the AMC agreement. Major repairs requiring component replacement are charged extra at discounted rates as per the AMC schedule.

AMC does not cover damage due to theft, vandalism, natural disasters, or customer misuse. AMC is non-transferable and is specific to the equipment and address listed in the contract.

Cancellation of AMC after commencement attracts a cancellation fee of 25% of the remaining contract value. No refunds are provided for AMC packages once service visits have been completed.

Limitation of Liability General

SecureVision Solutions' liability in any circumstances is limited to the value of the specific product or service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages including but not limited to loss of business, loss of data, or security breaches.

SecureVision Solutions provides no guarantee that any CCTV system will prevent criminal activity. CCTV systems are deterrents and evidence tools. Customers are advised to maintain appropriate insurance coverage for their premises.

Dispute Resolution General

Any disputes arising from transactions with SecureVision Solutions shall first be attempted to be resolved through mutual discussion. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the arbitration proceedings conducted in Kolkata, West Bengal.

These terms are governed by the laws of India and the jurisdiction for all matters shall be the courts in Kolkata, West Bengal.
